Installing the Custody X Change App (Phone or Computer)
No matter what device you're on, you can choose from two ways to access Custody X Change: visiting our website and opening the installed app.
Either way, you'll get the same helpful product. The installed app is simply a faster and easier way to arrive. (Once downloaded, it only requires a click and you're in.)
Want to move from the app installed on your computer to viewing the website on your phone? No problem. Your data is saved to your account so you can access it however works best for you in the moment.

Instructions for installing
Windows
Open the Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browser, and sign in to your Custody X Change account at https://app.custodyxchange.com.
In the blue navigation bar at the top of the screen, click the last tab, "install app."
Or click your profile icon at the top right of the screen, then select "install app" from the drop-down menu.
When a window pops up, click "install." The app will open automatically.
Mac
Open the Google Chrome browser, and sign in to your Custody X Change account at https://app.custodyxchange.com.
In the blue navigation bar at the top of the screen, click the last tab, "install app." Or click your profile icon at the top right of the screen, then select "install app" from the drop-down menu.
When a window pops up, click "install." The app will open automatically.
Android
Sign in at https://app.custodyxchange.com on your phone's browser.
You should see a banner at the bottom of your screen prompting you to install the app. Tap it.
Alternatively, you can tap the last tab in the blue navigation bar at the top of your screen: "install app." (You may have to first hit "more" to see the "install" option.)
Or you can tap the profile icon at the top right of the screen, then choose "install app" from the drop-down menu.
All three of the above options will walk you through adding Custody X Change to your apps.
iPhone
Sign in at https://app.custodyxchange.com on your phone's browser.

Opening the app after installation
Windows
Double click the Custody X Change icon on your desktop. Or type "Custody X Change" into your computer's search bar, and click the app when it appears in your results.
Mac
In your finder, search for "Custody X Change," and double click the app when it appears in your results.
Android
Simply tap the Custody X Change app. To find it, you may need to swipe up from the bottom of your screen, tap the three vertical lines at the bottom of your screen, or search your apps.
iPhone
Just tap the Custody X Change tile on your home screen. (You may need to swipe left until you find the correct screen.)
If you have trouble locating the app, search all your apps for "Custody X Change."
Uninstalling the app
Windows
If you installed with Microsoft Edge, type "Custody X Change" into your computer's search bar. Click "uninstall."
If you installed the app using Google Chrome, open that browser and type "chrome://apps/" into the address bar. When you hit enter, various icons will appear, including the Custody X Change icon. Right click it, and select "remove from Chrome."
Mac
Click the three dots in the top right corner of the app, and choose "uninstall Custody X Change" from the drop-down menu.
Or open Chrome and type "chrome://apps/" into the address bar. When you hit enter, various icons will appear, including the Custody X Change icon. Right click it, and select "remove from Chrome."
Android
On your home screen, find the Custody X Change tile. What you'll do next depends on your phone.
You might drag the tile to the top of your phone, then release it onto "uninstall."
Otherwise, you'll press and hold the tile until you see options appear. Choosing "uninstall" will delete the app and its data completely, while "remove" will just delete the tile from your home screen.
iPhone
On your home screen, hold your finger on the Custody X Change tile. Then tap "remove app."
