Common Custody Schedules w/ Timeshare - Part Two
There are standard custody schedules that parents typically use when they first create a parenting plan. They often don't realize how much time the schedules actually give them with their child.
The schedules below were made using Custody X Change to give you an idea of how each schedule divides time between parents.
Alternating weekends with one evening visit a week
In this schedule, the child lives with the custodial parent during the week and visits the noncustodial parent on alternating weekends and for one evening visit during the week. Here's how the schedule looks when you apply it to a month:
You can customize this with Custody X Change.
For this arrangement, the custodial parent has 85.5% of the time with the child and the noncustodial parent has 14.5% of the time. This schedule is a common one for a situation where one parent has sole physical custody and the other parent gets visitation.
Alternating weekends with one overnight a week
This is similar to the schedule above, but the evening visit is an overnight visit. The noncustodial parent has visitation every other weekend and one overnight visit a week. It looks like this:
You can customize this with Custody X Change.
This gives the noncustodial parent a little more time than the previous schedule. The custodial parent has 74.2% of the time and the noncustodial parent has 25.8%.
Alternating extended weekends
In this arrangement the child spends every other weekend with the noncustodial parent but the weekends goes until Monday evening. On the calendar this is what it looks like:
