Step by Step Video Tutorials

I learn a lot easier by seeing and hearing than by reading, and so I thought, "Why not make a few videos showing how the software works?"

So I got together with a friend of mine (who's used the software himself) and we made almost an hour's worth of audio-video tutorials. These videos are perfect if you've already bought the software - we give a lot of insight in how to use the software effectively.

Each video is on a different topic:
1. Introduction to Custody X Change (10:15) - This video starts out with a short introduction and then while explaining the concept of layered visitation cycles unique to Custody X Change, we setup a plan from start to finish right before your eyes - it's actually quite easy to do. After watching this video you'll be able to setup a plan just as quickly.
2. The Basic Plan (9:58) - The basic plan is the repeating visitation cycle, such as every other weekend and every Wednesday night. This video explains how to use all the advanced settings and customizations - how to pick the right start date for the plan, how to setup an alternating fifth weekend unique to Custody X Change, and how the monthly cycle differs from the other cycle types.
3. The Vacation Template (7:13) - This video shows how to setup both unspecified and specific vacation periods of visitation. We first show how unspecified vacations, unique to Custody X Change, are chosen based on how a parent would act and maximize the amount of visitation time. After that we show how you can setup multiple vacation periods for children who have winter + summer break, year-round school, or even how they can be used to split the summer between the two parents.
4. The Holiday Template (8:14) - Everyone tells me they just love how Custody X Change handles holidays. Holidays take priority over the basic plan and vacation cycles, and the software takes care of applying the holidays seamlessly over the regular visitation cycles. This video shows how to add custom, personalized holidays - such as your child's birthday, religious holidays, and non-US holidays. We explain the age-based defaults to help people get started, and then we show how the start and end day and time for each holiday can easily be changed to fit your schedule.
5. Reports, Misc. (13:10) - Custody X Change can print calendars, court-ready documents, and proof of the time-share percentage. On this video, we first talk about the friendly way to preview the calendar and how to print it for whatever time period you want. Then we show the different options on the attachment to the court order and show some of the legal text, and also show how the computational report proves that your plan's time-share percentage is 100% accurate. This report is so powerful because if the other party claims you have a lower amount of visitation time, you have a report that mathematically proves your time is accurate. Finally, we run through and explain the details in the menus.
