Version 1.10

- Major Changes -

Custody X Change now calculates overnight percentages as well as regular time-sharing percentages, and also can print these calculations on the attachment. The option can be permanently set by going to User Preferences, or temporarily set by using the new button on the status bar. Some jurisdictions use overnight percentages in child support calculations, and so the feature further expands Custody X Change's prominence in the US market. The unspecified vacations have also been changed to calculate overnights. As a note, an overnight is defined as any stay either parent has that approaches midnight on the day in question. This allows for impartial calculations without regard for the custodial parent.

Added the ability to apply unspecified and specified vacations simultaneously. Feautres to control which templates unspecified vacations are to be applied were added. Also, the computation logic of the unspecified vacations were completely redone to follow a closer approximation when used in conjunction with specified vacations and holidays. It is currently an accurate approximation of what each parent would do to maximize his or her time throughout the available templates, using ratios of complete years if the cycle is not evenly divisible by 1 year blocks.


- Minor Changes -

Specified vacations now correctly stay within their bounds. The splicing logic of the basic plan to the vacation template was completely changed to reflect the specified vacations taking priority over the basic plan template. Also, the ability to choose how many hours a sliver should be defined, for removal of superfluous exchanges on the endpoints of the vacations.

The ability to see which templates are currently being applied from the calendar was included.

The ability to define and use one-time special events integrated into the holiday layer.

User-defined holidays can now also use relative dates.

Forward & Backward, Day & Week Buttons on Basic Plan Template & Vacation Template Added.

Fingerprint passed to website using buy now buttons for easier integration with the payment and license key systems.

Upgrade pricing model in place for Lite -> Personal versions. Customers who have previously purchased the Lite version will find the new price available for sale while logged in using the email address used to purchase the Lite version. The current price is simply the difference between the Lite version and the Personal version ($30).

Pressing Shift-F8 will generate a "Hardware Change" log ready to email to customer service, to verify broken keys. This should not be emailed unless asked for, as it will be used for customer service inquiries only.


- Bug Fixes -

Fixed a bug that improperly set the exchange time to midnight instead of using the previous visit's first time; this bug could only occur at the edges of the basic plan template and the vacation template.

Fixed a rare & minor (0-12 hrs total) computation bug dealing with the vacation template's exchange time and computing a plan that ended during the vacation template.


- Other -

As always, these release notes are not inclusive of all of the changes that were made, whether incidental, minor, or major.

This version is provided as a free upgrade to all active, non-revoked, license key holders of the Lite Ver1, Personal Ver1, and non-expired Mediation and Attorney versions. We encourage everyone to upgrade to the newest version to ensure maximum data accuracy, and a minimum number of bugs. If your previous license has expired and you'd like to try out the new version, please contact us and we will provide a temporary extended trial key.
